Rowe Records Six Property Transfers in August, Most Prices Undisclosed
Franklin County Registry of Deeds recorded six property transfers in Rowe between July 31 and Aug. 29. Only one deed disclosed a sale price: $15,740 for 5 Pine Hill Drive, sold Aug. 26 by Douglas M. Upton to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, setting both the period's price range and median. The other five transfers, including two same-day Tunnel Road deeds moving property out of the Cowie Investment Trust and into Bruce W. Cowie's name, did not disclose a price. With five of six deeds lacking sale-price data, the record offers little basis for judging market tone in Rowe this period.
